Our brain is a phenomenal time travel machine. It stores memories from the past, and uses them to shape our present. It imagines future possibilities, bringing them to life through language. This beautiful gift can also be a curse. Our brain often plays tricks on us, insisting to keep us rooted in the past and making us afraid of uncertain futures. During this talk we’ll take a look at how we can empower the parts of our brain that are great at dreaming and drive action towards their realization.
Ruben Ocampo is a thought leader in design and strategic facilitation, who helps leaders imagine and enact visionary change through purpose-driven dialogue with their customers and workforce. His work experience spans three continents in the areas of organizational strategy, design and innovation management, and stakeholder engagement. He holds a Master degree in Design from the IIT Institute of Design and a MBA from Loyola University Chicago.
